Zoltan Kiss, Ph.D. - He founded Zoltan Kiss Consulting biotechnological company in 2016 for which he serves as the President and CEO. This family-owned company is based, for the most part, on his extensive research using various animal models and the multipurpose non-toxic human placenta derived protein, PLAP, to demonstrate its positive effects on excess visceral fat and related metabolic disorders, obesity, and reversal of the loss of skeletal muscle proteins caused by tumors, obesity, and aging.

*About the Founder: Zoltan Kiss, Ph.D., had an extensive academic research career before founding and leading several biotechnological companies. Until 2004, he was Professor and Section Leader at the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, he was a Senior Investigator at the National Cancer Institute (4 years) and held several faculty positions in the U.S. and Europe. Dr. Kiss holds a Ph.D. degree, and his research so far has resulted in 114 peer-reviewed articles and 27 issued international and US patents on the treatments of cancer cachexia, melanoma, wounds as well as bone marrow protection and full or partial reversal of various metabolic disorders. Most recently, Dr. Kiss has been focusing on finding effective interventions to normalize both visceral obesity and general obesity along with related metabolic disorders as well as reducing or preventing the loss of skeletal muscle proteins caused by tumors, obesity, and aging.
